BAH Humbug 2024

  • Info & Registration

    When: November 17, 2024. Doors open at 12:00PM ET with a start time of 12:30PM ET

    Where: Finback Brewery, 545 President Street, Brooklyn

    Player Capacity: 30

    Entry Fee: $40. All entry fees, excluding raffle costs, are being donated to The Chick Mission and Memorial Sloan Kettering

    Registration: Event has concluded.

    Payment: Please send to Phil Nguyen via PayPal, instructions in the registration form. Payment is not required upfront to join the Waitlist.

    Cancellation: Full refund for cancellations made a week in advance of the event.

  • Tournament Structure

    Format: Big Apple Highlander

    Rounds: TBD. 50-minute timed rounds.

    Card Legality: Reprints, World Championship/Gold-Bordered, and CE/IE cards are allowed. Recognizable proxies and playtest cards are also allowed.

    Deck Lists & Photos: You must submit your deck list before the event begins. We highly suggest submitting online via a Google Form that will be sent out the week of the tournament, but we will have paper forms available onsite as well. Deck photos can be submitted via the Google Form and are encouraged!

    1st: Memory Jar (Shadow Signed and Altered)
    2nd: Peacekeeper (Shadow Signed and Altered)
    3rd/4th: Intruder Alarm (Shadow Signed and Altered)
    5th-8th: Mirari (Shadow Signed and Altered)

    Participation Prizes: Commemorative stamped Disenchant (Signed and Stamped) and $10 worth of raffle tickets

    Best Deck Photo Prize: “Frog Family” playmat (Signed and Altered)

    Raffle Tickets: $1 per ticket. Tickets may be purchasable by non-event participants but prizes will only be shipped within the U.S.

Charitable Causes

BAH Humbug 2024 and the NYC Premodern community are proud to support the following two organizations:

  • The Chick Mission — The Chick Mission aims to ensure every young woman newly diagnosed with cancer has the option to preserve fertility through direct financial support, educational programs, and advocacy efforts.

  • Memorial Sloan Kettering — Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s goal is to decipher the underpinnings of cancer to identify new therapeutic targets and assess novel treatments in clinical trials. Their investigators work to design more effective, less toxic therapies that are helping people with cancer live longer, better lives.
